Digital radiology allows our veterinarians to capture an image of your pet’s bones and/or internal organs quickly and with little-no-sedation. An x-ray may be recommended by your veterinarian if there is a suspected broken bone, injury from trauma, soft tissue swelling, or if there is suspicion of a swallowed foreign object.

AWCB utilizes technology to it’s fullest by taking advantage consulting with a radiologist regarding your pet’s x-rays. We are able to electronically send the digital radiographic images directly to the radiologist so they can provide a detailed written assessment of their diagnostic interpretation of your pet’s X-rays in conjunction with their medical history. The radiologist can make diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations to your pet’s veterinarian.
